Meet Our Staff
I love teaching at BPTI! I am a bartender with over 10 years experience. I’ve been in all levels of this industry, everything from dive bars, to corporate, catering to fine dining, private events, and more. I’ve managed a couple bars and I’ve trained many people. I love what I do and I’ve made this my career. And because of that I will share my experiences with you and give you the best advice I can. I’m a mom of 3, and I can comfortably support my family because of bartending! I promise you will get more out of this training then you ever expected, I can’t wait to help you start your journey as a bartender, Get excited! We are going to have fun!
Dennis launched his bartending career after he graduated from BPTI more than 20 years ago. As a former alum, he brings a unique prospective to the classroom and provides valuable insight to his students. Between instructing and tending bar, Dennis says he loves what he does and couldn’t imagine any other career.
First and foremost, I absolutely LOVE what I do! My job is so rewarding as I am able to start a journey with my students that is exciting and positively benefits them for the rest of their lives! I have been an instructor with Bartender Pro Training for the last 10 years and nothing makes me happier than seeing my students succeed!
I have 20 years of experience behind the bar. I started working in Syracuse, NY at Al’s Wine and Whiskey (formerly Awful Als). It was at Al’s with the help, guidance and training from incredible managers that my love for bartending began. I worked my way through college at Syracuse University and graduated with a BA in Communications. Thanks to bartending (and great parents that helped with money management), I was able to pay off my student loans a few years after graduation!
I have worked in many places throughout the US including Savannah, GA, Jacksonville FL, San Juan PR as well as outside of the US in Cancun, MX. I enjoy creating custom and specialty cocktails, my favorite category being specialty martinis. In 2006, my Nutty Buddy Martini took first place in the Pinnacle Vodka Cocktail Mix off. I have also received top placing in both the Martini and Hurricane categories during Syracuse Winterfest.
Becoming a bartender was one of the best choices I could have made in my life. It allows me to meet people, travel, be creative, have a great time and most important- I can always make money!
I look forward to meeting all of you and beginning this incredible journey with you.
Dan has been in the bar business for more than 25 years and instructed at BPTI for 15 years. He became the director in 2016 and has worked to create an environment for learning that is student focused. With the end goal of turning out the most prepared bartenders possible, BPTI continues to be the trusted name for bars and restaurants in our markets.
