GINA ROJAS
Senior Instructor
First and foremost, I absolutely LOVE what I do! My job is so rewarding as I am able to start a journey with my students that is exciting and positively benefits them for the rest of their lives! I have been an instructor with Bartender Pro Training for the last 10 years and nothing makes me happier than seeing my students succeed!
I have 20 years of experience behind the bar. I started working in Syracuse, NY at Als Wine and Whiskey (formerly Awful Als). It was at Als with the help, guidance and training from incredible managers that my love for bartending began. I worked my way through college at Syracuse University and graduated with a BA in Communications. Thanks to bartending (and great parents that helped with money management), I was able to pay off my student loans a few years after graduation!
I have worked in many places throughout the US including Savannah, GA, Jacksonville FL, San Juan PR as well as outside of the US in Cancun, MX. I enjoy creating custom and specialty cocktails, my favorite category being specialty martinis. In 2006, my Nutty Buddy Martini took first place in the Pinnacle Vodka Cocktail Mix off. I have also received top placing in both the Martini and Hurricane categories during Syracuse Winterfest.
Becoming a bartender was one of the best choices I could have made in my life. It allows me to meet people, travel, be creative, have a great time and most important- I can always make money!
I look forward to meeting all of you and beginning this incredible journey with you.
